The Masterwork Chorus Alumni Association
In 2011, Masterwork Chorus formed the Masterwork Chorus Alumni Association, creating an opportunity for all former Masterwork members, whether they sang under founding conductor David Randolph, under David Briskin, Masterwork’s music director from 1992-1999, or under current music director Andrew Megill, to maintain ties and friendships with the chorus. To date, Masterwork has enrolled 55 alumni from all over the United States and parts of Europe.
In 2012, Masterwork welcomed alumni members to the chorus’s 250th of Handel’s Messiah at Carnegie Hall. Members renewed old friendships and mingled with singers backstage before the performance, and many joined festivities in New York City after the event. Alumni came from as far away as Michigan, Missouri, and Washington State.
We consider Masterwork Alumni an important part of the Masterwork family. Registered alumni are offered many benefits:
