A chamber ensemble chosen by audition from the Masterwork Chorus, the Masterwork Camerata is a mixed choir of 15-20 voices. The group performs self-sponsored concerts, concerts by engagement and as part of the full chorus’s concert program. The Masterwork Camerata performs challenging repertoire. Its members are experienced singers with a passion for small ensemble singing. Recent repertoire includes Bach’s Lobet den Herrn, Buxtehude’s Das neugeborne Kindelein, Sweelinck’s Hodie Christus Natus Est, Durufle’s Ubi Caritas, Dickau’s O My Luve’s Like a Red, Red Rose, Foster’s Nelly Bly, Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium and several of Moses Hogan’s uplifting spirituals.
